Is it really free?
Yes. NoWall Talk and the current pilot are free to use today, with no credit card required. If pricing changes in the future, it will be shown clearly before use.
Do I need a camera?
No. NoWall Talk is voice-only by design. There is no video feature at all — it's intentionally built this way so you can focus on communication, not appearance.
What languages are supported?
Speech recognition, translation, and captions support 48 languages. Read-aloud depends on a matching voice supplied by your browser or device; the translated captions remain visible when one is unavailable.
Is my voice recorded?
Voice audio is processed in real time and is not stored on our servers. We retain limited technical and session metrics. Text exchanged with an AI conversation partner may be retained for up to 30 days for quality and safety review, without your display name or session identifier. Human-to-human message text is not retained.
How does the translation work?
Your voice is converted to text, translated, and displayed as captions. When the receiving browser has a matching text-to-speech voice, it is also read aloud; otherwise the captions remain available.
Do I need to install anything?
No. NoWall Talk runs entirely in your browser. Just open the link and allow microphone access. Works on Chrome, Edge, and other modern browsers.
